Approximately 6 kilometres from Makrigialos it stands on a small plateau 420 metres above sea level.

The beautiful church has been recently renovated and is well worth visiting.

The village can be reached either directly from Makrigialos or via Pefki village - either way dramatic scenery on these mountain roads.

The village has three kafenion of which two serve meals.

There is  also a small shop which sells basic supplies.
