Pilalimata is situated just outside Makrigialos on the Sitia road.

It is a small village surrounded by olive groves with a view down to Lagada beach. It also marks the crossroads of the road leading to Kalo Nero and Moni Kapsa.

The beautifully maintained Agios Dimitrios Church is situated in the middle of Pilalimata.
